I spent a few years in Sierra Vista, Arizona which is located about 70 miles southeast of Tucson.
This city of 40,000 is dependant largely on the presence of historic Fort Huachuca.
Despite being in the desert, Sierra Vista has a temperate climate year- round. Nearby are the Huachuca Mountains as well as the San Pedro River. |

AnnaValentiAnderson Fri Mar 9, 2007 17:35 UTC I ate at the Mesquite Tree with my family March 3, 2007 and we all became violently ill from food poisoning. I filed a complaint with the health department. | TinKan Sun Jul 25, 2004 20:32 UTC Sierra Vista is a beautiful place if you just look close. So many people never look and miss the beauty of it all.
