"The Jewel in the Pacific" The Okinawa Islands are spread throughout the southwestern seas of east Asia. They are coral in origin and are rich green with tropical foliage. Okinawa has a warm, tropical climate and is nearly surrounded with beautiful beaches. Due to their healthy diet, mild climate, and low stress, the longevity of Okinawans ranks #1 in the world! I had such a wonderful time in Okinawa, it was hard to leave! The local people are some of the nicest I have ever met, and in retrospect, I am kicking myself for not taking notes of the sites we visited on our tour. I am researching my pictures on the internet to hopefully ID them better in the near future. |
