how sad about the pickpockets, I hope he bought something to eat and choked on it! the thief! I had an US friend who's bicycle got stolen there :-( he was heartbroken too. Still hope you have good memories of Paris.

Now for the big question! How were the pigs' feet with the bearnaise sauce? I'm afraid I couldn't bring myself to try the more exotic French culinary offerings. When are you coming down to Australia?
