“Its almost impossible not to like Butrint! Even if you are not very interested in archaelogy, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the scent of the eucalyptus trees, and the crickets chirping in amongst the ruins!” This was the first sentence in my travel guide and it 100 % true. Butrint was a real high light during my Albania trip.
