Sulingen is a small-town in North Germany. The population is about 12000. There are only a few interesting things to see, but it´s not a place which is a must to visit!
A couple of months ago I received an email from VT member Buls.
Hi Guys, I just came back from Europe, by the way it was my first time in Europe, I really had a great time specially in Germany.
First of all I think you do a great job in regards of this page but please give me a break, you have 3 members in the town of Sulingen / Germany and all what they can say about this city is "it's not really a must". Well to put an Italian Restaurant on the first page with this kind of comments (welcome to Germany) is already the first joke! These members in Sulingen should visit other places from time to time... in Sulingen you have a very nice small hotel (zur boerse) with a great Restaurant & great service and also you have places like "Ute", "Schimmel" and so on! However members in Sulingen you should open your eyes in your home city first before you give this kind of comment!
However the "Bullenschluck" was great.
It made me think about my hometown and Buls is right. I should think about this small town in a different way and try to look at it trough the eyes of a tourist. I will update my page and add more tips about Sulingen during the next days!
- Pros:Its a quiet provincial town with some good shops and pubs
- Cons:It´s more or less in the middle of nowhere and public transport is limited
- In a nutshell:Lloyd shoes and Bullenschluck!

I've just returned from a 3 month stay in the middle of northern Michigan at Houghton Lake, which looks much like your town. We have some German friends who live there! What does that tell you? Hope you are well. I back in Athens. Janet
It is good to know that you are here!
Frockland, wishing you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Greetings from San Diego. :-)
