Riobamba is a nice place to stop for a night if you find yourself traveling through the Ecuadorian Andes.
The town isn't as compact as Ambato, and not as big as Cuenca.
Sure, there is less to do, but you can just wander the streets all day, coming across churches and cafes. |

Luckily, there are a number of places to pull over and take a look around - sure beats shots out the window of the car or the bus!! |
