I moved to Vancouver in July 2004 and have enjoyed my time here. Vancouver is a very scenic city that has Canada's mildest climate. It has been consistently rated one of the top cities in the world to live in.
- Pros:mild winters, very green city, scenic.
- Cons:rain, expensive
- In a nutshell:the place to be in Canada

nice city that you are now living in. Happy Birthday!
Had forgotten about Shannon Falls, must have visited there when I was a kid, back in the early 80s! I'm actually here now, visiting my folks for the holidays. Even in winter, it can be sunny and bright, just like in your photos...thanks for sharing!
Hello! Just wanted to say hi to a fellow Vancouverite! Take care and good luck in your future travels :)
Great tips!! However, I must admit that I am not a fan of suspension bridges!! There are a lot of them here in Taiwan and I cross them but I really don't like it!
It seems a beautiful place to live in. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is great, but makes me a bit confuse to see people crossing it!
Chris, the bridge is amazing to see in relation to the size of the trees. Excellent picture. Wish I were there to swing the bridge. ;-)
