Cusco is the former head of the Inca empire and the longest inhabited city in all of South America. Now a days it is a tourist mecca as the jumping off point to Machu Picchu. The city itself is stunning with a town square that would rival any city on the continent. Ancient Inca walls line some streets and there are many Inca sites to explore within walking distance of the city |
