when i stayed in hastings in 2001 for three weeks (also see my hastings page) i visited EASTBOURNE on a weekend.
i've heard about eastbourne before. i knew that there's a pier like in other south-coast-cities. and that there's a lighthouse down at beachy head. and i love lighthouses...

Pros and Cons

In a nutshell:beachy head- a wonderful spot!
