Getting TO/AROUND: we visited denmark by train, with inter-rail. trains in denmark are very comfortable. it's also a good idea to travel overnight.
on some trains you have to reserve.

for shorter routes the bike is a very good choice of transportation. denmark is very flat, sometimes also very windy (of course, most of the time it has to be headwind;))
you can rent bikes on every corner.

to enjoy the great nature of denmark you should take the time to explore some places on foot. it's worth it. and very wonderful. there aren't many places where you can walk from the beaches of the north sea to the beaches of the baltic sea!!!
