Munich, or rather Munchen, is a fascinating city. Although I have heard people that have lived here their whole life describe it as "boring", I disagree. In fact, I like the city so much that I came back for a second visit in the summer of 2003. I first came there in June 2002.
It is instantly associated with Oktoberfest, but there is much more to this place than just beer. It's a city of parks, palaces, museums, and great people.
