Getting TO/AROUND: I caught an IC train from Koln. The journey took an hour and passed some nice scenery on the way and indeed Remagen looked worth a stop off on a future visit. The train was vert smart and comfortable as was the jouney. When you arrive at Koblenz outside the station is the tourist office and a bus station. There is a bus service to/from the deutsches Eck.
