I found Charleston to be a very relaxing place to visit. A great change of pace to hectic big cities. The town has many park areas with ample benches especially along the waterfront. If you are traveling through South Carolina, I would really recomend a stop in Charleston. |
| | There are dozens of preserved buildings and churches which makes walking around town like walking in an outdoor museumI |
Along the waterfront is a great park area. Along this pier are several swings that are great just to sit and relax for a bit. | | |

ciaobellamici Wed Oct 1, 2008 03:56 UTC I was there last spring and share similar photos! Loved everything about the city but could not find a mint julip? Stayed at the Palmer Pinkney - recommend it - and had breakfast at the Palmer House as part of the Package. | MandaJ320 Sat May 22, 2004 10:56 UTC nice page | karenincalifornia Fri Apr 2, 2004 00:43 UTC Great photos of another beautiful coastal town with loads of history! |
