Over the past decade, Cleveland has been revitalizing its downtown. New stadiums, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a refurbished warehouse district has started this process. East of the city is University Circle which includes many museums, a nice park area, and Case Western Reserve University. The city has many ethnic groups and theis reflects on the various resturant offerings. |
| | A Beach in Cleveland? Yes, hard to believe. This is just west of downtown (it's close to where the above picture of downtown was taken). There are other beaches that line Lake Erie in both directions. Cleveland also has a variety of parks. |
Case Western Reserve University Building This was designed by Frank Gehri. Folks seem to either like it or hate it. At first I was like this is strange, though after a while it kind of grew on me. Case Western is located about 20 minutes east of downtown in an area known as University Circle. The area has many museums in this area, and also the symphony hall is located here. | | | Not Your Average Building |
