As part of my midwest swing and nearing goal of seeing all 48 continental states, I arrived to Fargo from Minneapolis at around 1 a.m. I had hoped to get her by midnight, though stopped on my way out of Minneapolis for some Swedish food. When I arrived to the theater, the girl and guy at the counter were very friendly, and said that I could go into the movie for free. Small town hospitality! and no, the folks their don't sound anything like the actors in the movie! For inside pictures please see the travelogue. |
| | The next day I stopped at the mall as Roger Maris's memorabilia was on display here. The mall was as big as any around, and actually had some nice amenities such as a TV and aquarium that not too many malls have. Now all the need is a fridge full of food and things would be all set! |
This was my favorite item from Roger's display - a Gold Glove. After seeing the museum, it was off to South Dakota and the Vermillion National Music Museum which I had hoped to see on a prior trip, though missed. | | |
