Lunch in Sausilito Looking Back at San Francisco

....stay as long as possible!

There is a reason why San Fran is known as one of the best places in the world. Site-seeing of all different sorts. Great seafood, wine and chocolate, and the outdoors just a step or two away!

One thing about San Fran is that there is so much to do, that one might not consider a day trip. I would strongly recommend that in addition to seeing the city sights, that one make a trip either to Yosemite, Monterey for their Aquarium and for Pebble Beach, or the ever popular Napa Valley.

Golden Gate Bridge

This view of the Golden Gate is from somewhere up on Nob Hill. I was driving around, got lost, and stumbled onto a golf course! What was amazing was the views both to the west and to the east (i.e. Trans-America building).

San Francisco

One thing that's cool about San Fran is it's architecture. These houses are nearby Golden Gate park, though they can be seen in many places.

Hi John, Very interesting San Francisco page. Nice to see things other than the 'hot spots' for a change. And dead chickens hanging in windows grosses me out too!
