Bus and Your Two Feet!
Piran is small enough that one can get around by feet. There is a road that goes into town if one needs a cab. To get to Piran I found a bus / motorcoach to be the best option as there nearest train station of note is in Trieste. Buses ran regularly and to main cities such as Trieste and Ljubjana. The bus station is a short 5-10 minute walk to Piran's center.
