Utah on the whole is a very scenic state. First, Salt Lake City has the Rockies as a very picteresque background. The lower part of Utah has many interesting and colorful rock formations. Although the Western part along I-80 near the salt flats is barren, the mountains more than make up for this. (This picture was taken on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City - it was a surprise to see a golf course there!)
