Palestine is a nice, small town. My favorite thing is the Texas State Railroad that takes passengers from Palestine to Rusk. The trains are powered by old steam engines and depart at the Palestine and Rusk state parks. The ride is a bit boring, but going just to see or photograph them is awesome.
