"Pusan, Korea- Shimonoseki Ferry Information" Shimonoseki by gaspipe

The Pukwan Ferry departs Pusan everyday at 1900 hours. It arrives in Shimonoseki at 0830 hours the next day. There are various classes of travel, with 3rd class being the least expensive wiht no seating. Deluxe class the most expensive. There is a currency changer in Pusan. You will need YEN . Ther e is no currency changer in Shimonoseki and the Ferry Terminal is very spartan. The Ferry sails back to Pusan everyday at 1900 hours. This is a very good way to go to Japan for a short period of time for shopping or sightseeing without having to spend much time there. If you have any questions please contact me.

• Cons:Very few English speakers, No currency exchange available.
• In a nutshell:Good place to visit if comming from Korea for visa update, or to spend one day in Japan . Also good to travel to other parts of Japan
