Singapore's famed Merlion @ Sentosa - Singapore

The island-state of Singapore is where my home is - at least for now. My job in information technology gave me the opportunity to expand my horizon beyond my home country the Philippines. I arrived excited but worried about the uncertainties ahead of me in a foreign land, but who is not for the first time. The first few months were a survival test of my courage and belief of oneself and the ability to adapt to a highly fast-paced multi-cultural environment, where everyone seems chasing time all the time for reasons I could hardly conceive. I never felt so stressed in my entire life than with those first few gruelling months. Thankfully, I survived and is close to four years now of living safely and comfortably in this beautiful island of Singapore. For how long, only time could tell.

You've got great pics of Ubin especially the last one of a trail through the rubber trees. Ubin is superb, and should be preserved just the way it is!
