Finally, i have conquered the magnificent shores of Boracay Island, Philippines on May 28 to June 01, 2004! True to its name, Boracay's White Beach is just what it is - pearly, powdery white sand all throughout its length that stretches as far as your eyes can see! The sand stays cool all day even at the peak of the sun’s heat and remains powdery white 15-20 feet or more beyond the shores to the sea. Simply put, it’s like a big wide swimming pool at your pleasure!
Unlike other famous beaches, Boracay is not swamped with pesky vendors offering you all kinds of goods while enjoying yourself relaxing, reading or sun bathing at the beach. Vendors of all sorts are all lined-up with their warm smiles at their designated areas along the street just 10-15 feet off the beach itself. Usually this space in between the street and the beach’s shores which are shaded with palm trees are dedicated dining areas carefully designed and arranged by restaurants/hotels fronting the beach. Most have piped-in music but a considerable number of them have live performers serenading you with songs. Truly amazing and relaxing place to spend vacation with – come on give it a try!
