What a great place !!

Jasper is a very small town in the northern part of arkansas , The people are friendly , hill folks . there are a couple hotels , and a resteraunt or two, a "C"store and a grocery store . THATS IT . but it is one of mine and my wifes favorite places to go . THere is a river called the "Buffalo " that is a protected river . It has some great rapids . depending what time of year you go . from class 1 to class 5 .There are high bluffs and cliffs , also a cave or two .You can get a canoe and shuttle , for about 35.00 dollors a day which is a great price for a days entertainment. The last time I went, the hotel cost 35 dollors a night also , nuthin fancy but it was clean and had cable .What else could you ask for .

I once had the best blueberry pancakes in this town. My parents and I had gone a weekend trip trhought the Ozarks. Your page makes me want to go back since that was about 1968.
