"The Windy City" Chicago by karen75

Visited Chicago for my third time in October 2006 for two nights. This time I flew into O'Hare and then travelled by the El into town for two nights at the Chicago HI Hostel. Visted the fairly new Millenium Park, went up the Sears Tower, went up the Hancock Tower (2nd time), took an achitecture boat cruise, got my pins from the Hard Rock Cafe Chicago and the Hard Rock Hotel on Michigan Ave, etc. I love this city!

Drove to Chicago in April of 2001 with Derek.

Saw a baseball game at Comiskey Park and then after the game, walked all over the city. Saw the movie "Road to Perdition" being filmed by the big old banks, went to Shedd Aquarium, the Navy Pier, etc. Chicago was very windy that day indeed. Too windy that they had closed the Sears Tower before we could ascend.

Had massive blisters on my feet from walking everywhere in bad shoes. Could have killed Derek for not wanting to take a bus back to the car. Left Chicago and headed for Cleveland, Ohio.....
