| sunset sky in Bangkok - view from my window |
I think there are soooooo many pages by other VTers about Thailand and Bangkok with tons of wonderfull photos. it is neither my ambition or intention to outbest them or compete in any way. I'm just trying to share my own vision of certain aspects of this huge city, that's all. Personally I like it very much and always can find new amazing side of it, some private and interesting corner, and happy that such discoveried never end ! Like these colors of the sunset - my friend urged me to quickly make a shot - and it was indeed very good moment. and who can balieve that it is taken out of our window in the very busy business area on Sukhumvit Rd, between tall buildings of condominiums and hotels, which leave almost nothing of the sky fo sight. yet - here u are, seeing what I'd managed to see in the middle of this giant city, modern days Babilon of nations - how I feel about it.... |
| | view from the park's lake view of Bangkok from Queen's park lake. there are many such hidden from busy traffic calm and peacefull places in Bangkok as this one. such sites give totally alternative impression of the city as being too traffic congested, polluted, ugly...
this park is very near to the place I live on the Sukhumvit Road between Nana and Asoke BTS stations. it is practically walking distance from the intersection where Asoke station is. |
Buddha in the park this Buddha is also very peacefull in the quite corner of the park. people come to the park not only for relaxation, picnic, sports or site-seeing - but it seems for religious worhip as well ... | | |
