Restaurant Name: Pla
This place was gothic, mysterious and spookily empty when we stumbled in, starving at 9pm. By 11pm, the place was PACKED. Oh, and the waiter sat down at our table to take our order which was a cute touch :) The food is a little japanese, a little mediterranean and a lot fabulous. Truly the best meal I've ever eaten. From the salads that were too delicious to be salads, to the divine meat main course to the delightful desserts, this is a menu to be savoured. Go, wear your most Morticia Adams outfit and be empty enough for all three courses - or you'll just end up wanting more!
Favorite Dish: It had to be the divine salad starter - it was just so gorgeous. There wasn't enough though!

Restaurant Name: Taxidermista
A nice, varied menu (something for everyone) on a beautiful square with outdoor tables. Choose here rather than the ferociously popular (and queued!) Les Quinze Nits next door - you won't regret it. This place has nicer food for only a little more money and it's got a really interesting history. Plus you can laugh at the people queueing for Nits as you eat. Nice wine too :)
Favorite Dish: The goat's cheese starter... just a great salad!

Restaurant Name: Les Quatre Gats
More of a cafe than a restaurant, this place is interesting because Picasso and other bohemian-types used to come here. The imitation artwork on the walls is testimony to that to give you that arty feeling. There's some cool tiling that the maitre d man was gesturing to too, so maybe it's important too! Sit with a coffee and imagine the great man sitting here too, having some ale with his artist pals. Oh, and be sure to visit the toilets! The tilework is stunning.
Favorite Dish: I'm not even sure this place sells food! It's more about the history.
