I almost can't think of anything to say about Padova. It was the first destination on my tour of Italy and I was pleased by this pretty town. It's apparently an excellent university and I certainly wouldn't mind studying there. It's inoffensively good-looking, but not striking. It doesn't blow you away, but you feel warmly comfortable.
In short: a fantastic place for exploring the Veneto region (only 45 mins by train from Venice!). |
