One day to see Quebec.... quite short. I first thought it was not going to be enough, but we did manage to see everything we wanted, which I believe was everything there really is to see.
We did walk all over the city... |
| | The Swiss American city Everyone always told me "Quebec is very european". I personally disagree. The Old Quebec did remind me of Switzerland and Europe in some ways but much newer. The typical little pedestrian streets are full of perfectly coloured little houses, all of them shops or restaurants: it actually felt like being in Disney World. |
| | The real city As I was saying, the Old Quebec felt almost fake and unreal. But as soon as you exit the walls, you discover the real city where locals live and hang out.
And it does look quite different! |
