Nightlife Spot: Café de l'Usine
In the more 'alternative' scene, l'Usine (the factory) is a very trendy and cool bar with a concert hall on the ground floor 'Le Kab de l'Usine'.

Nightlife Spot: Carouge
Carouge is a small little town in the outskirts of Geneva that becomes very happening during the Summer days. The main square, Place du Marche (Market Place), is full of bars and terraces that are all packed as soon as it nice and warm outside. Rue Vautier is a street that runs from the Market Place where you'll also find some cool bars: Marchand de Sable, Cafe de la Plage, Chat Noir and Cafe de la Forge. Carouge is also worth visitng during the daytime: the Sainte-Croix church, the market, the artisan's workshops and galleries, etc.

Nightlife Spot: Bar La Clemence
La Clemence is a tiny bar in the Old Town of Geneva, with a big and lovely terrace that is always packed on the weekends, except if it rains or snows. All types of people mingle here, from the snobs to the cool cats. Definitely a place to see and be seen! La Clemence tends to be the starting point of the evening, where people first meet before barhopping or clubbing.

Nightlife Spot: MAD (Moulin à Danses)
MaD stands for Moulin à Danse (Dance Mill) and is pretty much an institution in Geneva. You can dance, listen to live music when they have concerts, or just have a drink at the bar and people watch. The legal age to go clubbing in Switzerland is 18. On the weekends, only members and their guests are allowed to go in, so you will have to meet the locals and ask them to go in with them!

Nightlife Spot: Le Cafe Baroque
Le Baroque is an elegant and expensive cafe/restaurant. You can come here to eat, to have tea, or to have drinks late at night. It tends to be frequented by the beautiful and gorgeous of Geneva, and the luxurious decor is worth the visit. It now also has a part called the B Club right next door, which is just as elegant, baroque, beautiful and of course expensive.

Nightlife Spot: Senso
A few friends opened a franchise restaurant and bar in Singapore, New Delhi and Geneva. I went to Senso in Geneva and the restaurant serves delicious Italian food and the bar is trendy and happening. The decoration is modern and inviting, so by all means I recommend for you to stop by to have a drink or have dinner!
