Cosmopolitan Geneva

by vanessadb - last update: Aug 12, 2003

I lived in Geneva for two years while I was a University student. Don't listen to the people who tell you that it is a boring city. Not at all. You just need to know where to go!

Besides, it is a beautiful city, definitely worth visiting: it has the Leman lake at its feet, the mountains nearby, all the international organizations and thus people from all over the world. Geneva is undoubtfully the most happening and cosmopolitan city in the French speaking part of Switzerland and should not be missed, no matter the season.

Pros:"Cosmopolitan, surrounding nature, people from all over the world"
Cons:"Lots of snobs and on the expensive side"

Good tips about Geneva! I'm Spanish, so I usually have trouble with meal hours in Europe, so you tip on that will help me a lot. Thanks.
