Madrid is just an incredible city. As the old saying goes 'De Madrid al cielo!', (i.e. from Madrid to Heaven) which basically means that after Madrid heaven is the next satisfactory destination...
Madrid indeed has it all (ok it has no beach but it doesn't need one, it has EVERYTHING else!!!!) and should not be missed when visiting Spain. But then again Madrid is not to be visited but to be lived, to quote a friend whose Madrid page you cannot miss: agarcia. |

As one of my first visitors just correctly stated, Madrid seems to have an unwritten law that forbids sleeping before dawn... so get ready to discover the real meaning of partying, or I should rather say the renown Marcha Madrileņa. |

Madrid is a city that I often used to visit, several times a year if possible, and it has now become my new home. So this page will be a continuous work in progress; be very patient though as I am now living this great city to the fullest and seem to have very little time for VT.... |
