I went home (Switzerland) on holidays for a week and my mother and I decided to head to Florence. Five days of bonding between mother and daughter and of course five days of intense and enriching Medici and Italian culture immersion.

It was not my first time in Florence but it certainly was my most enjoyable visit. Florence gave me what I needed and missed: Latin yet European flavors, beauty, architecture, history, culture, just to name a few. An intense yet relaxing week!
