"Puno & Titicaca" Puno by vanessadb

Puno Travel Guide: 167 reviews and 460 photos

Puno's interest is its Lake Titicaca, which borders Peru and Bolivia; the highest navigable lake of the world with its altitude of 3800m above the sea, it also very large, 100km long, if I remember well.

What a stunning view! I live in the heavily wooded area, so such a stark contrast looks so unusual! Floating islands?! Wow!

the Titicaca is almost 200 km long, about 285 m deep.....and on this sea the Uros..although near the border..so impressing como su historia...si, lamentablemente estan perdiendo su autendidad ...pero pues, tratando de sobrevivir en estos tiempos dificiles.
