De Melkweg. This is a club with different rooms and very different programs. You can find the best danceparties here but also theatre, movies, art and live music.

Looking for a place to dance? But don't feel like a nightclub? Go to Bourbon Street. You will feel like dancing on the street in this smokey bluesclub. Every night live musicians or jamsessions.
Great smokey ambience.

Nightlife Spot: 18TWINTIG

This is a recently opened bar/ restaurant again in the hip part of the city: De Pijp. The interior is looking really great. You can have really good food here altough it is a bit pricey. It's also a great place to have a drink later in the evening. On weekend nights it can be so crowded that you'll have to wait in line to get in!

This is a new place to be in Amsterdam and therefore pretty popular with the hippest people of the city!

Nightlife Spot: Bitterzoet

This is a recently opened place and one of my favourite places to dance and to socialize.
The people here are open minded and easy to talk to. A lot of other clubs in Amsterdam are filled with beautiful people who really know that they're beautiful, understand what I mean? This place isn't! People are just with two feet steady on the ground which makes it fun to talk to them!

The music varies. There are live acts like guest dj's or bands playing regularly. On thursday for example was a jazz band playing on breakbeat sounds. Last friday there was a hiphop night with breakdancers and all. The program is very diverse.

Make sure you'll be there before 12 otherwise you have to wait in line and you will risk the club to be all filled up and you won't get in anymore!
