    • When I'm talking about cowboys I mean real cowboys! With horse and all!

    This picture is actually not an exception. I was amazed to see that this is a serious way for the locals to carry their stuff around town. Time stood stil here...

    • Copán has a very friendly atmosphere. It is small but it does feel like a town.
    After spending a few hours here you have seen the whole place and that makes it so pitturesque. The locals are used to tourists but it's luckily not so bad it thrives on it.

    • While strolling through the streets we discovered that inside the house blocks there were all marketplaces. The people were so friendly. I bought 5 cigars tied together with a piece of straw and I got two bananas for free with it!

    • On the other side of the bushes on the picture is the place where all the locals hang around. This is the same square where I took the picture of the cowboys sitting down.
