Krakow has it's obvious beauties - the Rynek Glowny and the Wawel for starters. But it's a much more subtle city than Prague and you need a good guide to lead you to places and through alleys and doorways you would never think of exploring on your own. It's also a very friendly place - within minutes of arrival (at 6.30am!) at the station I found myself deep in conversation with Krakovians. |
| | Krakow revisited - May 2003 A couple of days in Krakow, especially when you are tired after a long trip across Europe, just isn't enough. So I had to go back - choosing to reurn in May when the lilacs are in blossom and the sun is becoming warm again...
This time I gave myself a whole week to absorb the place and get my bearings. And it still wasn't enough.
I feel I'll be returning again and again to this glorious city |

I love your description of the trumpet and the scent of lilacs, and your reflection picture from the fountain. |
