You arrive at the railway station in Luxembourg city and your first thought is to turn right round and get back on the train. The area round the station is tacky and soulless, and the hotels there expensive and don't look too wholesome.
But stick around. Go for an evening stroll, and while at first you may be passing through a seedy area of strip clubs and other nasties, as soon as you get near to the old town it all changes. You step straight into the fairy tales of your childhood.
