The South Island of New Zealand has got to be one of the most amazing places you could go to anywhere on earth.
Blessed by nature and populated by the nicest, friendliest people you could ever hope to meet, it is an ideal place for holiday-makers and visitors of all descriptions.
I went to the South Island several times when I was living in Wellington, so this travel page is going to be a collection of my memories of the different trips, as opposed to one long travel itinerary.
Also, I won't be focusing on the main tourist sites like Christchurch and Queenstown, because I think there would already have been much written about those lovely places.
I will be adding to these pages as I get round to scanning my hundreds of South Island photos. So do check back once in a while... |
