    • Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The ground in most of the temples and tombs can be quite uneven so bring decent shoes

    • Miscellaneous: There is a limit of 1000 Egyptian pounds per person that you are allowed to bring into the country, although they didn't check at the airport. However, cash is readily available in Luxor from cash points in most of the main hotels. At our hotel we got a better exchange rate than we got in the UK anyway.
