Dali and a lot of restaurants - Figueres

The main (and perhaps only)reason that most people visit Figueres is because of the Salvador Dali-museum. The city has been turned into a Mecqua for Dali-lovers. Lots of shops, restaurants and route indications refer to Dali. The museum is worth a visit (allthough pretty expensive) and also the surrounding streets are worth a stroll. Don't stay too long in Figueres though. Half a day is long enough to have a look around.

Last week I visited the "Espace Dalì" in Montmartre. It has for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dalì a special exhibition with more than 300 artworks. Very interesting! I suppose the Figueres museum must be even more interesting!

Great pictures and good to know about this place as I plan to visit the area one day. I also love such narrow streets to walk around through, and, if I do get by mistake the wrong ticket, lets see how good Finnish the conductor can understand :-)
