Hua Hin used to be a small fishing village and is the oldest beach resort of Thailand. I liked Hua Hin during day time, especially Takiab Beach ( at the southern end of Hua Hin) and the harbour of Hua Hin. But in the evening, the streets around the night market change into one big tourist destination. The nightmarket itself is ok, but the surrounding streets are full of restaurants and "doubtfull" places to please the European tourists. Seeing a Thai girl, dressed as a German waitress, was a bit too much for me ;-(( |
