It was my first trip to Asia, and I must confess: I really had some cultural shock after visiting Bangkok! This is a hell of a city!
On the one hand, you have the serenity of the temples and on the other hand, there's real life Bangkok: lots of traffic, the smell of food, the noise, the smell of cars, ...
Even a few weeks after I got back in Belgium, this city still kept haunting my mind! |
