Delhi was my last stop on my India-trip and it was so much different from what I saw in Rajasthan. For a start, Delhi has more than 14 million inhabitants, which is more than in the whole of my home country! Needless to say that it can get pretty crowdy.
I especially liked Old Delhi, with its fort, its "shopping streets", its crowds, its traffic, it's the part of India they tend to show on western television.
New Delhi on the contrary is very modern. Around Connaught Place, there are big squares and modern fountains as well as chains like Benetton, Pizza Hut, ....
It¡¦s interesting to see the difference between the two parts.

My best Delhi memory was of course a VT-meeting. I had the chance to meet Uma and Ali ( VT members Umashanker and The_Heart_of_Worship) It was a nice evening, on which I also passed through our famous Baton_East to Ali.

I stayed in Delhi for only 2 days, which was pretty short cause it takes some time to go from one part to another. Nevertheless, in these two days I had the opportunity to check out different parts of Delhi life, which I truly enjoyed!
