Rome is not only ancient ruins but also a green paradise. Its quiet relaxing to sit in the Borghese away from city noise and breath fresh air. Not only does it contaion a very interesting attraction, the Villa Borghese but it is also a perfect spot for picnicking and has childrens and family activities like riding on rented group bicycles.

The Via Appia Antica was built by the Roman Censor Appius Claudius Cieco in 312 B.C. to join Rome with the Alban hills. Today it begins at Porta San Sebastiano and harbours tombs of different social classes. Among others are the tombs of S. Callisto and those of S. Sebastian.

This is a touch of Egypt amidst Rome. "Piramide di Caio Cestio" is 37mt. high and was built in imitation of the Egyptian pyramids as a burial monument for Caius Cestius.
