The Montains of the moon, Rwenzori Mountains are 5110 M High with a snow capped peak which invites to an unforgottable trekking experience. The Mountain has many glaciers and may be climbed to the summits of Mt. Speke, Mt. Stanley, Mt. Luigi Di Savoia and Mt. Baker. The exercise requires 3 days for the shorter foothill hike and 6-7 days for the usual mountain loop in the companion of guides. Its apt to undertake trekking trips in the dry season, i.e., December-February and June-August.is .
Besides, Rwenzori Mts are a part of the Rwenzori National Park which inhabits: Elephant, Genet, Chimpanzee, Golden Cat, Forest Hog, Rock Hyrax, Sitatunga, Mongoose, Duiker, Vervet, Monkey, Rwenzori Colobus.
