Nightlife Spot: China Grill/Dragon Lounge Mandalay Bay Las Vegas
One of the places to see and be seen! Very LA in my opinion. Lots of pretty people. Dress to impress. I watched as people were picked from the line to come in to the club. Look good, it will increase your odds (I think!). I went there to dance and found it to be very crowded and people kept walking through the dance floor. Still, it was FUN! You wait a long time for a drink, but maybe that's just how it works for a person with no connection in a trendy Vegas club! I've heard that you can pay $250.00 for a bottle of your favorite alcohol which will guarantee you a seat for you and your friends in close proximity to the dance floor. Music=good!

Nightlife Spot: Red Square
I found Red Square less exciting than I'd imagined. Had been told that they had a bar made of ice. And while the bar DID have ice running down it in a strip about a foot wide, it was nothing impressive. WAS impressed that they had my vodka of choice, in addition to many others. DO stop off for a drink, they were good and it's on the way to Aureole. You can't miss the place due to the HUGE, headless statue outside the restaraunt. Going inside and ordering a drink, I looke up to find the statues head, in the refrigerator! NICE!

frankcanfly Mon Jul 14, 2008 12:32 UTC I was hoping this page would have a little more excitement to it... hhmmmm.... I'll just have to include myself in the next weekend.. :-) | Geisha_Girl Fri Apr 11, 2008 16:34 UTC Ha! Love that motto...Although I'd have to disagree with the second line. In our case it would be more like, "Damn....We gotta DO THAT AGAIN!!" ;-) But I think we're so done with Vegas. Time to move it wayyy South of the Border! | starship Sun Aug 14, 2005 02:02 UTC LV really has something for everybody but I'd never heard of the "wine angels" at the Mandalay Bay when we stayed there a few years ago--I'd like to see that! | sourbugger Wed Apr 20, 2005 16:55 UTC nicely and breezily written tips. good stuff |
