A dream finally became reality Zaïre now D.R.Congo the country I've read a lot about. The gorillas were the piece de resitance to go on a rather unusual journey. It should be rewarded plentyful with fondest memories of nature as it used to be on this planet a long time ago. Lucky me to be able to see a place where man did not yet manage to screw up too badly! Africa's pull on me is basically the realisation how little unimportant creatures we are when left to our own devices in the wilderness. No weapons and we easily fall prey to any wild animal a fascinating thought! This on mind the gorilla experience was awe inspiring as the gorillas did not feel the necessity to put us down as we intruded their grounds. They certainly can't be human but must be better beings. |
