This time it was for some hiking and climbing, Mount Kinabalu was on the plan. It's the highest peak in south east Asia with 8 rivers flowing from it. 4095m should not be too much I thought for I grew up in the swiss alps. So mentally I prepared for Borneo/Sarawak and Sabah as part of tropical Malaysia and all the beauty reached effortlessly. It turned out to be different in a really good fun way.
At the end I got much more than I ever asked for, the memories shall last for ever. |
