"Croatia 2002 & 2003" Croatia by Echo_29

Our first visit to Croatia was in September of 2002. We drove in from Vienna to Zagreb and then out to the coast to Dubrovnik and Kotor, Montenegro. With a side trip to Vis and a day in Hvar we were primarily wandering the coast.

In September 2003 we returned to the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, for our first truly relaxing vacation. Sans car and two good friends (now 3) we flew into Split and began our island hoping down the coast ending our travel with 5 days in Dubrovnik. In between we traveled from the islands of Vis, Hvar, Korcula and Lastovo. We spent our days wandering ancient stone villages, sunning ourselves on the white stone beaches of secluded and pine encrusted islands and swimming in the azure seas of the Adriatic. We encourage anyone looking for a relaxing and inexpensive vacation in the safest place we have visited to consider a holiday in sunny Croatia.
