Namibia Travel Guide: 2,148 reviews and 6,268 photos

I must admit to having only spent 3 days in Namibia - almost exclusively in Windhoek, but I thought I'd hold forth anyway.

Windhoek is nothing to get too excited about, I heard stories of German Architecture (yes it exists but it’s really not worth the bother) and fantastic beers (OK, but nothing special). It’s tiny, got about as much buzz to it as a recently exterminated wasps nest and over-run with South African branded retailers and food chains. My advice is hire a car and bugger off some where interesting double quick.

Pros:Presumably the really nice bits outside Windhoek
